It’s not an unusual practice for moneyed Hollywood power players and celebrities to buy up properties surrounding their main residence for added space or privacy. We’ve covered it here on Luxury LA Homes many times, with Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas combining three separate properties into one of Hancock Park’s most stunning mansions. And mega-producer Megan Ellison has purchased multiple surrounding properties in the Hollywood Hills, creating two separate compounds in the the last year alone.
Our Celebrity Home of the Week features a sale of two adjoining properties, purchased in 1990 and 1994 respectively, combined together for a $10.825 million listing. The “quirky but deluxe, Dutch-influenced compound” of Hollywood power couple Paula Wagner and Rick Nicita is located high above the flats of Beverly Hills totalling six bedrooms and eight and half bathrooms.
The main house has been remodeled with high-end luxury finishes throughout. Custom carved wood details, decadent marble, gold accents and high beamed ceilings are the norm.

Paula Wagner started as an actress before becoming a talent agent and later a studio executive and broadway producer. She is most widely known for her longtime producing partnership with Tom Cruise.
Rick Nicita is also a former talent agent, rising to managing partner at CAA where he repped Cruise. Nicita now has his own production and management company, repping such stars as Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins and Sally Field.
