Nichols Canyon Home Restored to Perfection Sells to James Marsden

The Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Nichols Canyon just got a little more star studded. Leading man James Marsden has purchased a beautifully restored example of mid-century architect Edward Fickett’s work for $1.8 million.

Nichols Canyon is one of the most architecturally interesting neighborhoods and renewed interest in Fickett’s work has helped restorations like this one become possible. The post and beam style house was built in 1959 and last listed as a foreclosure 2009. There are four bedrooms, three baths, a perfect new kitchen and an updated swimming pool and fire pit. And in an added plus for an celebrity, Marsden’s only rear neighbors are canyon wildlife. nicholscanyonhomes (2)
