The Neutra VDL Studio and Residences are located on busy Silver Lake Boulevard right across from the reservoir. Built in 1932 by famed architect Richard Neutra, these works are signature mid century with clear almost austere lines and a focus on bringing the outside in. The project was originally intended to showcase that the ideas and techniques used in high-end architecture could translate to affordable housing that offered plenty of comfort and privacy.
