Sunset Strip

Sunset Strip is the name given to the mile-and-a-half (2.4km) stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood, California.From the Strips eastern border with Hollywood to its western border with Beverly Hills (Crescent Heights Boulevard and Doheny Drive, respectively), this idolized destination will enchant your senses with its array of nightclubs, restaurants, world-class hotels, spas, and boutique shopping.An unincorporated part of Los Angeles County until 1985 when the city of West Hollywood was established, Sunset Strip got its name from Los Angeles County workers who called it “that strip.” The first buildings went up along Sunset Strip in 1924. The most famous part of Los Angeles is the area above the Sunset Strip as known as “Sunset Hills”.  This area is home to the highest concentration of celebrities in Los Angeles.
