This week we highlight a rare offering. Many architectural aficionados are familiar with the famous Case Study program. The Case Study Houses were an architectural experiment which ran from 1945 to 1966. It was sponsored by Arts & Architecture magazine and commissioned most of the major architects of the time, many of which we’ve covered here recently.
Richard Neutra, Raphael Soriano, Craig Ellwood, Charles and Ray Eames, Pierre Koenig, Eero Saarinen, A. Quincy Jones, and Ralph Rapson all designed and built “inexpensive and efficient model homes for the United States residential housing boom caused by the end of World War II and the return of millions of soldiers.” 
Another one of the Case Study architects was Rodney Walker. His former personal residence, located on Mulholland Drive in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Bel-Air, is available for the first time in many decades.
